If you have decided that it is time to leave your job and you would like to do so with a suitable exit package then this particular service is designed to help you to approach your employer.
We will firstly help you to make an informed decision as to what is really in your best interests and if leaving is the right thing to do.
If you decide that it is time to go then we will help you decide whether it is better for you to approach your employer directly or if you would prefer us to try and negotiate with your employer instead.
If you decide that you are going to negotiate direct then by the end of this call you should be better informed and equipped to be able to decide on the best tactical approach to try and secure the most favourable exit terms under a settlement agreement. If your employer agrees then it should also make a reasonable payment for us to provide you with the necessary independent legal advice on the final terms of the agreement.
If you elect to choose us to approach your employer and we confirm that we are able to do so then we will agree with you the basis on which the approach will be made and what terms will be initially negotiated and why. As part of this service we will also ask your employer to pay our reasonable legal costs of advising you on the terms of the final agreement if your employer also agrees that allowing you to leave under the terms of a settlement agreement is the best way forward.
It is important to understand that not all approaches for a settlement agreement succeed and there maybe some good reasons why your employer refuses to allow you to leave in this way. It should also be understood that working relations can sometimes worsen after such an approach if your employer feels that you can no longer be trusted because you have intimated that you really wish to leave.
